It's time!

You know the movie Julie & Julia? She says "I have thoughts!" That's kinda how I feel. I have lots of thoughts. So many that it is hard for me to keep track and get them all down. I have put off starting this blog for about a month because I just don't know where to start. I thought it would be neat to start this and as Jeff and I grow with our family, everyone could keep up with it (if anyone wants to). I like having a place to vent or just write down what's happened. I sort throught a lot of things just by writing them down - I'm a major list keeper!
Want to know about us? Jeff and I went to high school (and junior high) together. I never really knew him though. I knew alot of his friends. Dated a couple, had crushes on a couple :) We met about 4 years ago after talking on myspace for a while. We dated about 7 months and broke up. We stayed friends and would go out and do things -except for the time when I had a horrible boyfriend. In October 2007, he confessed that he still loved me. We picked out a ring in November and got engaged in January. We got married on October 4, 2008. I was 31 and he was turning 31 in 10 days. We are both stubborn and set in our ways. He is very independent. I rely on others a lot. I am a bit OCD, he ISN'T! :) We get along most days but we have had some big ones. Marriage is tough. Living with someone is tough. I've never lived with a boy before I got married. We are figuring it out as we go. We are both determined to make our marriage and our life work for us. We love and care about each other. That is enough to keep us going, even in the midst of the GIANT fights.
We have a dog named Poopers and a cat named Raleigh. We want kiddos but so far that has not happened. Everyone keep their fingers crossed!
I'm excited to start talking about my life and the things I think about. Here we go!!
